Ana Ivanovic Australian Open 2008
So Ana Ivanovic is in the final against Maria Sharapova in probably the hottest final you could create in women tennis.

Emmanuelle Beart - early shoot
one of the most beautiful actress, in my opinion. Known to most people from Mission Impossible and 8 women, Emmanuelle is a very talented french actress, giving brilliant performances in A Heart in Winter, Nelly & Mr. Arnaud and Manon.

Daniela Hantuchova - Australian Open 08
So Daniela lost to Ana (more Ana on my next post) in 3 sets. Hantuchova, surprisingly, got the first set 6-0 hitting 23 winners and leaving Ivanovic frozen. Down 0-2 in the second set, Ivanovic showed character taking 6 of the next 7 games 6-3 emphasizing on Daniela's inconsistent game. The third set was close 6-4 to Ivanovic and a place in Australian Open final.

Elena Dementieva - on court and in practice, Aus. Open 08
Tennis has been the main theme here as the Australian Open enter the latter stages. Federer will face his toughest match so far, Novak Djokovic on his quest 13 grandslam title, one shy of Pete Sampras. In the meantime here's Dementieva - who was eliminated by Sharapova on play and in practice.

Josie Maran - Business of Being Born premiere
Been a fan of her since I first saw her in ads for Mango in 1998, I think. Josie did more catalog than runway, as she is fairly short for a model (5'7"). She used to have a very cute and wholesome image that later she tried to break with Sports Illustrated, to Replay ads by Terry Richardson, to sexual experimentation confessions on Howard Stern.
Josie did few indie movies and had small roles in The Aviator, and Van Helsing and even been pixelated into a Need for Speed game. She quit modeling and acting and moved to Hawaii to teach children and grow her baby daughter. Lately, Josie launched her own makeup company "Josie Maran Cosmetics".
Here some recent pictures of her in the premiere of "The Business of Being Born".
